JIECANG Showcases Industrial Photovoltaic Solutions at SNEC 2023

From May 24th to 26th, the 16th International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition (SNEC) was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. JIECANG highly displayed its linear actuators & solutions there, which are contributed to solar power generation system.

Photovoltaic (PV) Leads the New Revolution

In August of last year, the capacity of China's photovoltaic power generation surpassed that of wind power for the first time. Moreover, by the end of March this year, the cumulative installed capacity of photovoltaics had surpassed hydropower, making it the largest new energy source and the second largest source of electricity in the country.

Globally, new energy sources like photovoltaics are also flourishing. It is expected that the newly increased of photovoltaics will reach around 350 GW this year, will soon may “beat” hydropower next year, natural gas in 2026, and coal in 2027 to become the largest source of energy.
